Terms of Service

1. Who we are

Synora ("Synora", "we", "us") operates the website at joinsynora.com and related career-search, AI coaching and recruiter services (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.

2. Accounts

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Recruiter accounts must accurately represent the hiring organization.

3. Acceptable use

  • No scraping, reverse engineering or automated bulk-application against employers not opted in.
  • No misleading job listings, discriminatory criteria, or roles that violate local employment law.
  • No harassment, spam or unlawful content through messaging or profiles.

4. AI features

Synora's AI coach, CV rewrites, and auto-apply features produce probabilistic output. You are responsible for reviewing anything sent to an employer on your behalf. We do not guarantee interviews, offers or hiring outcomes.

5. Paid plans and Stripe

Paid plans (Boost, Auto-Apply, Career Concierge, Growth, Scale) are billed through Stripe on a recurring basis in the currency shown at checkout. You can cancel any time from your dashboard; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and we do not pro-rate unused time unless required by law. Taxes may apply based on your billing location.

6. Refunds

If a paid feature is materially broken, email support@joinsynora.com within 14 days of the charge and we will review a refund in good faith.

7. Content ownership

You keep ownership of the CVs, cover letters, messages and profile information you upload. You grant Synora a limited licence to store, display and process that content to deliver the Service (including sending applications you approve to employers).

8. Recruiter obligations

Recruiters must comply with applicable employment, equality and data protection law in every jurisdiction they hire in, and must only use candidate data received through Synora for the role it was submitted to.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, put the Service or other users at risk, or that we are required to remove by law.

10. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Synora is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, and our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified by email or an in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect.
